Dr. Francis X. Shen, JD, PhD will present this webinar. Dr. Shen is the Executive Director of the Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Law, Brain, and Behavior, and he directs the Shen Neurolaw Lab at the University of Minnesota, where he is an Associate Professor of Law, McKnight Presidential Fellow, and member of the faculty in the Graduate Program on Neuroscience. Dr. Shen is a co-author on the first Law and Neuroscience casebook, and has published widely on a variety of law and neuroscience topics including memory and lie detection, cognitive enhancement, criminal justice, brain injury, evidentiary admissibility, sports concussion, juror decision-making, criminal mental states, dementia, and mental health. He also teaches and writes on artificial intelligence and the law. Dr. Shen teaches Criminal Law, Evidence, Law and Neuroscience, Law and Artificial Intelligence, and Introduction to American Law.
