Come hear from UMN Extension educators and farmers about how they have implemented Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) on their farms. These trainings will be useful to all size fruit and vegetable farms.
Agenda: UMN Extension Educator for on-farm food safety Annalisa Hultberg will provide an overview and updates related to the topic, and then a farmer trainer will offer a deep – dive into their farm practices with tips and tricks about integrating food safety into their operations.
Cost: Free (thanks to funding from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Specialty Crop Block Grant Program)

Although we will discuss the FSMA Produce Safety Rule and help you understand how it applies to you, please note that this is not a Produce Safety Rule Grower Training and sessions are not focused on the FSMA Produce Safety Rule.
