UMRA Workshop | Health benefits of companion animals for seniors: pros and cons
Pamela Schreiner, PhD, a professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Community Health and director of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health’s Center to Study Human-Animal Relationships and Environments, will be the guest speaker for UMRA’s first Living Well Workshop of 2022.

Professor Schreiner will discuss the positive and negative aspects of pet ownership for aging people, including the psychological, emotional, and mental effects.
