Great session. The data and plans are critical, of course, but so too will be a coaltion of people, advocates, stakeholders that can create pressure on governments and society to respond. Waterfowl have benefited from the advocacy of people who have been willing to spend money, invest in habitat and pressure politicians to respond in kind. There are many effective ornithological NGOs, but somehow we have to find ways to create more unified action, and engagement. 3B birds was a great start...what's next from a advocacy perspective?
