Not a question but more a comment, I was having trouble adding an account to my citrix kept getting a pop up saying "certificate provided by the server is not trusted. Account cannot be added" turns out my problem was my WIFI because it wasn't password protected went and used campus wifi and it worked.

Comment: For everyone with issues about opening a data file into Stata, I recommend using a USB drive and saving the data onto the drive. Make sure to have the file name contain the file format (ex: .xlsx). You can open the file from Stata if you select the removable drive instead of My PC.

It’s still not working, my google drive isn’t pulling up in STATA even though I’ve synched it with Kumo. No files are pulling up. I’m still trying to get help from IT but they seem just as confused as I am

I created a new folder in google drive and dragged to files from the email into the folder to get it into google drive if that helps… my issue is that I can’t get the do file to open in stata

Yes I got to the drop down window, but I can’t find the file as it is in my google drive and not saved to my computer

Double check that the STATA dialogue box (the Ctrl O window) has selected "All Files" in the bottom corner

STATA can open many types of files (and there are many sub-file types related to STATA) so you have to change the target extension

I got it when I selected all files instead of do files. Thanks so much!
