Is your family prepared for a disaster? Participants in this free webinar will learn how to prepare for disasters by creating an emergency kit and developing a family plan. In addition, ideas will be discussed on how to share the content with other family members, youth groups, and other community organizations. Youth in grades 3 and above are encouraged to participate with their grown-up(s). Youth group volunteers are also welcome.
Facilitators will be FEMA Youth Advisory Council Members Camden Larson, Region 8, and Ryan Ciminski, Region 5, as well as UMN Extension Educators Carrie Olson, Youth Development, and Lori Hendrickson & Sara Croymans, Family Development.
The University of Minnesota Extension is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services and activities. Accommodations for persons with disabilities may be requested by contacting Sara Croymans, Extension Educator, @ firstname.lastname@example.org two weeks prior to the start of the event.
