Did you know that Minnesota is currently home to over 20,000 active duty, guard and reserve service members, nearly 21,000 military dependents (spouses & children ages 0-18), and over 330,000 Veterans? A core tenant of military life is family readiness. For Service members to focus on their mission, it’s critical that families are ready and prepared for life’s challenges. Most military families are resilient but community support is critical to developing and maintaining resilience. Participate in this webinar to learn more about military families in our Minnesota communities, resources available, and how you and organizations can walk alongside and support these individuals.
Webinar facilitators include: Anita Hering & Sara Croyimans, UMN Extension; Heather Bergeron - Lead Soldier & Family Readiness Specialist; Rachel Johnson - Yellow Ribbon Outreach Coordinator; Laura Groeneweg - Lead Child & Youth Program Coordinator, MN National Guard; Mike Meier, Military One Source, MN State Consultant; and Tiffany Kovaleski - Building Healthy Military Communities - MN Coordinator
