We will look into the newest book by Jean Illsley Clarke, Words That Help: Affirmations for any age, every stage through an interactive format and share examples of how Developmental Affirmations have fit into working with families to help you discover ways in which they will fit into your work.

Presenters: Ellie McCann and Kelly Kunkel
Ellie McCann is an Extension Educator in Family Resiliency with the Center for Family Development, University of Minnesota Extension, and a Certified Family Life Educator (CLFE). Ellie's work focuses on improving the quality of families’ lives through times of transition, through programming for both parents and the professionals who work with them. Kelly Kunkel is an Extension Educator in Health and Nutrition, Family Development with the University of Minnesota Extension, and a master certified health education specialist (MCHES). Much of her work has been dedicated to changing the food environment to improve food access and choice for low-income adult and youth audiences, through programming for food shelves, childcare providers and parents, and healthy school environments.
